Who we are
KlippTek builds websites for local UK service businesses. This notice explains how we handle personal data when you use our site, email us, or when we contact a business about our services.
What data we collect
If you contact us
- Name, email, phone, message content
- Any files you send
If we prospect a business (B2B)
From public sources (e.g. Google Maps, Companies House, a public website):
- Business name, address, phone, public email
- Website URL, ratings/review counts (public)
- Company number / entity type where checked
- Notes we write about public web presence
- Our emails/calls with you and your replies
We do not try to collect special category data.
Why we use it (purposes & lawful bases)

For legitimate interests we balance our interest in offering relevant B2B services against your rights. You can object at any time.
Who we share data with
Only processors we need, for example:
- Email / hosting providers (e.g. Cloudflare, mailbox host)
- Accounting tools
- Analytics if enabled (configured to minimise personal data)
We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. UK IDTA / adequacy) as offered by the provider.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become clients: usually up to 12 months
- Clients: for the life of the contract + normal accounting retention (typically 6 years for invoices)
- Prospecting records: for the pilot and a reasonable follow-up window, then delete or minimise; sooner if you object
Concept previews on `preview.klipptek.co.uk` are removed on request the same day where practicable.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object (including to direct marketing), and data portability where applicable.
Marketing: reply STOP or email hello@klipptek.co.uk — we will stop.
Complaints: you can contact the ICO (ico.org.uk). We’d appreciate the chance to fix issues first.
Cookies
Our marketing site aims to use only essential cookies where possible. If we add non-essential cookies/analytics, we will update this notice and provide controls.
Preview pages send `noindex` headers and are not intended for public search.
Concept previews
Previews labelled as KlippTek concepts are not affiliated with the named business until that business buys and we deploy to their domain. They are sales demonstrations built from public information.
